WOW!! That was a Fierce round! Every single design that came from Round 7 of The Battle of the Stitches was Fantastic and all 12 designers deserve a huge High Five. We'll all "Fall Into Winter" easily with such beautiful projects to work up! The question is.... Where do you start?
Are you ready to find out who was chosen our fan favorite?
With such beautiful use of color throughout her design and an amazing model and photo to show it at it's best, your fan favorite winner is "Rose's Autumn Shrug & Hat" by Christine of Chris Cross Crafts.
The Judges had an even harder time voting for the best! They are required to judge each design based on the the following:
1. Best use of stitch
2. Best use of color to show the stitch
3. Most Creative
4. Best overall
Their votes were seriously close, but their final winner has been chosen. The Judges Choice winner is Heidi from Snappy Tots with her "Fall Into Winter" Bag and Scarf. What a creative and fun design!
Take a moment to congratulate our winners and also compliment all of our other challengers. They were hard at work to bring you some amazing designs that will be fun to work with great results and they are THE BEST! Keep reading to find out who designed each of the remaining 10. You can visit each of their FaceBook pages by clicking on the individual photos.
Thank You for following another round of The Battle of the Stitches! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. You'll want to stick round because we have something fun planned for our fans to be part of the challenge during October! It's time for YOU to get out your hooks!!!
What a month September has been! 12 Crochet Designers have been working fiercely on designs that fit the theme "Fall into Winter" using the Tri-Square crochet stitch. It was fun seeing the Sneak Peeks and the colors of yarn that were chosen. Do you think you guessed correctly what any of the projects are?
We think they have ALL come up with some Amazing designs and can't wait to share them with you! So, without any further rambling from me, here are the Battle designs from 12 wonderful Crochet Designer Challengers.
Being in The Battle of the Stitches crochet challenge is a LOT of fun, but it's also a LOT of work! In all honesty, ALL of the challengers are winners when the challenge is over. They put their heart and soul into their crochet designs and it's exciting to see how all 12 designers get creative with the given crochet stitch and theme. We like to keep things on a very positive level and it's fantastic to see so much support given to everyone involved.
Each round, our winners have received wonderful prize packages and we sincerely appreciate all of our sponsors! This round, The Clay Sheep, The Silk Drop and Kaleidoscope Art & Gifts have offered up some amazing prizes. This is what we have in store for the winners of Round 7:
